Knitting Challenge - Short Rows

While I have been knitting a long time, it was just simple stuff like scarves, hats, gloves and the occasional baby afghan. When I started making things for dolls, I found I had to learn new stitches and new techniques. Seams were tricky for me until I got a great book for Christmas called Finishing School by Deborah Newton. Great Resource. The other great resource for learning is YouTube.

I was knitting a cape with a hood for Payton and needed to do short rows. I had never encountered that, of course. My Vogue Knitting book just wasn't enough so off to the Internet for help. I do that often, especially with knitting. Seeing someone do it is so much better than reading about it. I found this video, from Knitpicks on YouTube that made short rows easy. Watch and Learn.
