It isn't always easy to find all the supplies you need. Reasonably priced fabric store are difficult to find. Joann's on every other corner is just not enough. Not a fan of most of their fabric, always looking for something they don't carry. When I was in AZ, I also shopped at Hancock Fabrics. They hit the mark more often, BUT my store went out of business. Grr! I thought they all did, not so. Found one in Schaumburg. Very excited! Went there for the 1st time yesterday, got myself signed up. It is a little out of the way but should be worth it. I have a lot of fabric, but my ideas and my stash don't always mesh. lol
There are many good resources for fabric if you know exactly what you want. Buying on the Internet is tricky. I like to feel fabric before I buy but that is not always possible so familiarize yourself with brand names. That makes Internet shopping more successful. I have bought fabric with good results from Fabric.com and believe it, there are some great sellers of fabric on ebay. Just carefully watch the shipping costs and the amount of fabric offered. That can often eat up a good buy.
